A cutting-edge start-up

Green Polyols srl is a startup founded in Ostuni in 2020 with the aim of recovering secondary raw materials resulting from the processing of polyurethane products in the bedding area.

In particular, the startup aims to use an innovative chemical recycling process to reconstitute the polyol raw material so that it can be reinserted into the production cycle with a circular economy perspective.

The project was born from the collaboration between Green Polyols, New Wind, MecProd and the research group of professor Michele Modesti of the Department of Industrial Engineering of the University of Padova.

The company intends to interpret the companies needs and strengthen their relationship with the territory through research and technological transfer activities in the circular economy field, having as an indispensable point of reference environmental sustainability and the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions in atmosphere.
